The Most Wonderful Time of Year...

This is not my christmas tree...but we actually did put ours up last Thursday! I will have to take some pics to post. I absolutely love our tree. Its decorated with all of the ornaments that I received at our Christmas ornament shower. Some of the ornaments belonged to Jon's grandmother, so its really special to have ornaments that have been passed down in our family.

A Few of My Favorite Things....

It's hard to believe that the holidays are right around the corner. I find myself wondering where the past year went. It's gone by way too fast. I have to say that it has been a wonderful year!

What I'm looking forward to the most is seeing our families for the holidays! It has been way too long since seeing them. Jon's mom will be in town for Thanksgiving and my family is flying in for Christmas!

Returning

It has been almost a year to the day since I've posted anything on my blog. I am going to try to get back into it especially after reading some of my older posts. Since moving back, we spent almost 11 months in Taiwan...moved back to the States on May 11th...spent 3 weeks in Kentucky...4 weeks in South Carolina.....and moved to Texas on July 6th. And we celebrated our one year wedding anniversary. Whew...it has been a whirlwind of a year but one of the best of my life this far. I tell Jon all the time that I can't believe we lived overseas for a year and I know it's something that we will never forget. I am posting a few pictures of our last week in Taiwan.
